We staged Alan Ayckbourn's Relatively Speaking at Shanklin Theatre in March 2016. The play sees two couples flounder around, coming to numerous misunderstandings as they struggle through a mass of ambiguity!
The play is generally regarded as Ayckbourn's most finely crafted piece, and from the amount of laughter in the audience, it was clear everyone enjoyed it.
One critic remarked....'The cast brought great energy to their performances, creating a fun and lively comedy!'
Note the framed poster on the wall in the picture below. This was from a production of Relatively Speaking around 40 years ago. We thought it was a nice addition to the stage set!
